Video A, B, C Week 6- April 21st

THE MMS FILM FESTIVAL WILL BE THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH FROM 6-7, IN THE BAND ROOM. All entries will be shown and the prizes will be awarded. Bring your families, there will be refreshments.

Essential Question: What visual and auditory elements are used to convey meaning?

Video A: students will be exporting their Biotech film, because only a small fraction did so last week when they were asked to. They then must complete the Storyboard of “Not Easy Being Green” and the Script of “Pollo Comparo”. They can film their first 5×5 when these are completed. If they finish their first 5×5 they can storyboard their Intentional 5×5 (5×5 #2). The 5 x 5’s will be graded next marking period.

The VP studio is open Tuesday after school for any student who wishes to get extra help.

Homework will go home on Friday. It will be due on Monday.

Video B: students will make changes to their film per the feedback from me. You must export your 1st film and save it to the EXPORT folder, do not save it to your student folder. Please watch your export to make sure it exported correctly. If your Pre-Production paperwork has been approved by me, then you can begin filming your Chroma Key film. If you need special props, let me know.

Video C: students will begin shooting their 300 – 500 images for their stop motion film. Remember to tighten the controls on the tripod so your shots remain steady and your frame does not change. Remember to have very small movements of your objects for each picture. The bigger the change the faster the movements will seem. The more images you have for each sequence, the smoother and more natural the movements will seem. Save the audio for last. You have two weeks to shoot this film.
